Is this bend in the track actually happening or is the NHC just bring a bunch of butt fricks trying to get New Orleans traffic to the site?
That's a heck of a bend but the advisory says Nate is still moving at 340 north which is consistent.

Surge map shows unless near mobile bay or the immediate coastline , you should be fine in Gulf Shores for up to Cat 2

I got lucky and our car is on the 3rd floor of the garage behind a wall.
I really think we’re going to stay. The storm surge map doesn’t look bad for here (1-3 feet). By noon tomorrow we’ll be back at the beach IMO

Husband is flying into New Orleans at 4 today. Then wanting to drive home to biloxi. Will this even be possible? Or just stupid?
