Second strongest storm in history lol. Days ago when they said that 5 minutes of research showed that was bullshite.

It would help if you even remotely knew what you were researching.

Sorry. Was it 4th? Maybe it was the second fastest to sub 900mb. My bad. Definitely changes things.

Good God. Aksually... it was the second fastest to drop below blah blah.

Tied for 4th in pressure...no where near the most powerful.

Out of how many named storms over 100 years and you think the 4th most powerful isn’t near the most powerful?

Yeah, the media is dumb, but your definition of “no where near the most powerful” is equally as dumb. It was 10 mph off of #1 and 15 mb. That’s somewhere near, at a minimum

People in here indicating this thing may be a dud.. curious if that’s true.

If so.. that’s a massive blessing no matter how you slice it.

You do realize recording pressure at sea wasn't done 100 years ago.

How does one determine if a hurricane is a dud? There’s still storm surge coming in.

Named storms started in 53 too. So about 75 years of that. Just in case you wanted to nitpick another datapoint.

It’s a lot weaker than it was 24-48 hours ago, which was what was expected.

It’s coming in so far on the low end of expectations, which is good.

It was a strong CAT 5 when it was 400 miles out in the middle of the Gulf but a CAT 2 at landfall. That's like fricking a chick who was hot 10 years and 50lbs ago.

Made landfall as a 3. Sounds scary as shite outside for me.

I'd like for it to be a dud...
