MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...130 MPH

Sure Jan

Had to keep the ratings up on TWC and the news networks. Not as many people will tune in if they downgraded the winds accurately to 115-120mph range and they all had to label it as a Cat 3.

Not a big fan of the lawn guys getting half my yard in my pool, snakes in the pool, turtles in the pool, mosquitoes year round in PBC either.

Those frickers still manage to throw grass through the net and in my pool every week.

I have lived with the pool cage for 4 years. I basically sit on my lanai every night and have a drink before I go to bed. Some nights I have sit out there and fell asleep. I have not one time got bite by a mosquito. We have a pond in the back yard and if you go out there outside that cage after dark, you better be moving

Any chance this weakens to a Cat 2 by landfall?

You’ve been acting like a huge cocksucker the last couple of pages. What’s your deal?

Almost certainly. It already looks like one on radar and satellite.

Haven’t read the thread but have y’all been keeping up with this meth head that’s riding the storm out in a 20 ft boat tied to a dock?
He's been mentioned. I figure he just has a reservation at Disney and doesn't want to depend on gas stations being open.

Just curious, how long have you studied meteorology? What’s your experience with tracking storms? Just curious

I think they lean too much on extrapolating wind speed from pressure. The pressure went up 7 mb in the last pass. It might have been 944 but it’s filling up and rising fast. Just because it’s at 944 doesn’t mean it’s a Cat 4. Extrapolating winds from pressure drops makes more sense.

Been watching for about an hour now. Storm finally heading east and likely avoiding Tampa direct by 20 miles. It's going to absolutely frick Sarasota. Storm travel speed is picking up and the eye will make landfall before midnight tonight. Might make landfall at 125mph if speed holds up. It doesn't look like it's going to lose speed but it can get in and out of the state quicker which is much more ideal.

Don’t get the love for Ryan Hall. I assume you’re a mouth breather if you watch his streams
