Chicken could just start a whole new board called TigerDropsonde (shout out to the meaty urologists on the board).

It ain't going to Louisiana or Mississippi. Take that to the bank. And I base that on absolutely nothing.

I hope the hamsters were kept chained in their wheels with just enough food and water to make it to tomorrow

looks like the Euro and GFS are in agreement on location, not so much strength
Huge disparity in strength, but otherwise, they seem to align on forecast positions now. Targeting south and east Florida.

You could probably safely put *possible Cat 6 in the threads title.

That's the name of the fricking blog. There is no such thing as a Cateogry 6 based on the scale we use to categorize hurricanes.

The agreement between GFS and EURO up to this point is insane

I tend to lean more towards the one that has it coming in as a "weaker" hurricane. I just don't buy the sub-900mb predictions.

Actually, that is a good idea. Harvey has two threads. Move Harvey and Irma to the new Hurricane board. Isaac got his own board. LINK LINK Harvey and a Cat 6 need to open up the official Hurricane Board- open all hurricane season..

Regardless of where it ends up, Florida will get hammered one way or another.

we all are very weary of the sub-900 storm predictions

but then again... almost everyone also wrote off predictions of 50+" of rain from Harvey... then it verified

so everyone has a more accepting mind at the moment

True, but it's no 887 type of monster that'll flatten the earth in its path.
