Looks like Irma has concentric eye walls. If she can get through this cycle quickly, there isn't much between her and Tampa over the next 36 hours or so.
Holy hell, is this storm 200 miles wide now?

Still looking like a Tampa direct hit?

Lake boat insurance is totally different from salt water.
New boats easy to insure, older boats not so much. And after the Moorings disaster (Did you see the collapsed marina?), marine insurance is going to be harder to get. Depending on how many of the charters there that get totalled, that harbor could be several million US$ or more depending on ages.

I have a new 70k dollar ski boat and I have full coverage on the entire boat plus 3k worth of coverage for items in the boat, up to 1k for on lake towing, and 1k for rental in case of breakdown. It cost me 80 bucks a month
I bet you tow it with a corvette, amirite?

I believe in the next update the Hurricane Watch warnings will extend further west in the panhandle based on the continued westerly direction.

It's going to continue going west until it turns due north. This isn't unexpected.

I'm watching my radar app and she's just sitting there spinning now. That's scary.
