From Mike's weather page:

getting tighter and tighter and tighter... locking in on west / central Florida for main path. Very large system... east coast will feel her too. Panhandle still feeling good. GA/SC/NC little more better... but you are on the dirty side impacts will be possible. New NHC at 5pm. Little bump to west?

Don't need any more western bumps...

depending on more shifts West, they might just go to Miami to miss the eyewall

I don't know what to do. Maybe I over reacted. I apologized to the man for doing so. Just trying to get through this and this message board has been the most helpful out of every other resource I have checked in the last 2 weeks. I don't usually act like this. I will keep my comments to myself until this shite is over and just continue to take advice from everyone here that has been through these hurricanes before(many of you many times) and take everyones suggestions seriously.

To everyone who has helped with this thread the last couple weeks. You guys know who you are and I do not have the words to explain how appreciative I (and many others , I'm sure) am. Thank You! Nobody HAD to spend their time to assist others on a MB. It's pretty amazing , the group of good people on TD.

He's in Branden, just to the east of Tampa. Hope he reconsiders. He also owns two planes. He should at least fly one out to safety.

Keep us updated. I'd like to hear how that works out for him.

Yes please. I have friends in Palmetto, just south of the Bay. They're far enough inland where I don't think flooding will be an issue but I'm still concerned.

Right. So you would think more of a wind event and not as catastrophic flooding.

If it hits south of Naples it has potential for a greater storm surge.

Not in this thread I don't expect it. 99% of the posters here know exactly what we , in Florida , are going through yet the jokes continue. If this was headed to Nola and one fing joke was made , there would be banhammers flying everywhere. What is it? Just funny because it's not La this time? frick off with the jokes for now. Thanks

Come on man. I know this is stressful, but I mean, it was just a silly joke, not even one poking fun at the curr3nt situation.

Moved from Zephyrhills to Orlando a few years ago. My Father in law lives in one of the mobile parks there and didnt want to leave. We at least got him to go to a friends site built house. Still have family in Zhills and Lutz. Orlandos not much better but if you would feel better there, my place is open to you.
