If Irma is able to get her act together again today, the Turks and Caicos could be in for an absolute nightmare. 190mph winds were found less than 300 feet above the ground in the northwestern eye wall.

holy shite.
I need to remember the name of that idiot poster that was bitching about how we kept using the word leveled.
I would like his commentary on that video.
Idiot.

I'm stunned I didn't know the capital of Turks and Cacious was Cockburn Town. The shed you learn.

SE Alabama.
Tell them to stop and get gas every chance they have, because they will go through stretches where it is impossible to find.
As soon as I got down to 3/4 of a tank I was checking every station we passed to go ahead and fill it back up.

Or some of the posters who made it seem like this was no big deal for the islands and they'd be back up & running in no time.

Is there an app that says what gas stations have it and which ones are out?

They are the same ones who will watch the heli video and say look at all the standing buildings, houses and cars still in use.
"Not that bad."
They are taking leveled as a literal meaning as that only means the structures disintegrated and no longer exist.
These islands have millions and millions of dollars of damage and will take months to rebuild.

Fun fact: Got it’s name from the prevalence of gonorrhea in the 16th century

I was watching Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams (nice rack btw), and he said the reason this SOB won't drift away to sea is because the jet stream up in Idaho acting as suction and will bring the hurricane to inland USA. Take it FWIW.

Yep. People think that if a hurricane doesn't leave destruction like Andrew or Katrina, then it wasn't so bad.

Doubt this will help many, but a Facebook friend just posted that their was gas and bottled water at the corner of Babcock and Florida in front of the Wal Mart Marketplace. This is in Melbourne area I believe.
