He's saying it sucks that Carolina might get a direct hit, not that skirting Florida sucks. No one wants this thing to hit anywhere head on.

My point was usually Hurricanes only land a glancing blow as they drift into the Atlantic. This storm doesn't move as it lands for a straight shot on SC. Man I got friends that live about 5 miles off Myrtle Beach.

Everything I am seeing shows it hitting Naples and not going up the Atlantic coast.
It's great watching twitter and cold bitter people hoping it hits directly into Florida to affect mar a lago. Sick people out there.
