Yeah, just a little wind in charlotte right now. Partly cloudy. Interesting watching these cloud bands blowing south so quickly.

Only 3% and 9% of homeowners in North/South Carolina have flood insurance. WTH??

The whole area is rivers that let out into the Bogue sound and much larger Pamlico sound

Getting gusts of around 25-35mph in Raleigh right now. Not raining yet though. Still have electricity and haven't lost any trees....yet, but the wind will be picking up throughout the day and staying steady through Saturday.

We're starting to get wind here in Cola as well. Fairly light, but steady.

The bands of clouds are kind of cool.

Jeff P - not sure if he’s in the eye or what, but he’s out on the coast and it’s calm as shite

That was from yesterday before landfall. He has still not come back online LIVE since the post below. He said it would take just 40 mins to get to his new location, but guessing it’s a tad longer
