So you're saying there's a chance?

This storm will not go west of Pensacola. It does not like its' sister that much.

Looks like running up the peninsula is becoming less likely. Appears the models are slowly starting to consider this thing possibly getting further west and into the gulf than previously thought yesterday.

It will probably be some of the least crowded days of the year....and from what I understand Disney's hurricane preparation and safety is pretty much second to none in the Gulf South. So there could certainly be worst places to be going right now.....Freeport, Bahamas comes to mind

So Disney just holds their employees hostage while a CAT 4 hurricane pounds the coast just East of them?

I’m seeing that too. But the posters above say that’s wishcasting. Are we all looking at the same models? They have it crossing Florida and going in the Gulf briefly before hitting the panhandle.

The other poster said it looked like it wants to jog into “the middle” of the GOM.

It doesn’t

I think the central gulf states will be protected by high pressure, but I see a good chance that Dorian could hit the Florida panhandle after crossing the peninsula. Maybe 50/50 or a little less.

Euro has more options for it to be a fish storm while GFS is leaning towards crossing Florida into eastern gulf and a panhandle 2nd landfall

Interesting

Yea, it’s not getting into the central gulf.
