David Bernard apparently said enough to spook my mom... my parents already have hotel reservations up here in Ellick by me just in case
ever since Katrina if a storm even looks like it could get to major status and find its way into the Gulf... my parents get hotel reservations somewhere... and ever since I moved up here to Ellick 4 years ago those reservations have been up here by me

I believe we (Nola, BR, Grand Isle) are way passed due for a powerful hurricane. I really have a gut intuition that Dorian will reintensify after landfall in FL and continue into the warm Gulf just to restrengthen and come on land again in Louisiana. I pray this isn’t the case but I feel an Andrew, Katrina or Gustavo-like storm. The date of Andrew was Aug 26 with Katrina on Aug 29 then Gustav Sept. 1st. Maybe all coincidence....

There is a meteor, a few million miles from Earth, that will be passing by that you should be worried more about that than this storm that won't come near LA.

I think some of you are rooting for a LA hurricane.

Our subdivision has underground lines but surrounding neighborhood is older with lots of trees. We love the beach and go quite often but I’m happy to be centrally located during hurricane season too!

Gustav skullfricked my area worse than Katrina did. That storm was a beast.

Models have it narrowed down to between about Jacksonville and Fort Pierce if you ignore the legacy TAB (formerly BAM) models.

It’s a really strange phenomenon that I have never fully understood.
