Bay is probably the most credentialed pro met here when it comes to hurricanes

Is Bay still around? I would take Rummy, Bay, Duke, GoMed and the others and go up against any of the nerd groups from the various weather boards out there in a "hurricane forecast off"

Especially considering the dumbasses who want to offer up their personal feelings and such.

Yeah. That’s hilarious when you see people post “I feel” “I think” with nothing to back it up

he popped his head into the Barry thread and as soon as he made a post all of the usual jerking off that can happen in these threads stopped in an instant

And when it comes to serious crunch time, these are the ones I want in a closed thread -- keep another one for discussion BUT with the crap and fighting and name calling that goes on, I'd want you guys in a YOU ONLY thread. It did happen once but I can't remember which storm it was.

there is no consensus, other than it's going to be turning north eventually.

It'll be a slow-mover by the time it approaches the Florida coast, trying to poke north into the ridge... it'll find a weakness eventually and slide in, but trying to pinpoint where that weakness will be is close to impossible right now.

You're bitching about people relying on message board posters instead of the experts. But you're also bitching that those same posters are just regurgitating what the NHC says.

Is that New Orleans track the end of that run that loops up through North Carolina and comes back down to the Bahamas again?
