Consenting adults... I am not sure how consenting these women were. Something tells me that if they had just met this guy at a party, they would not be sucking his peepee.
It is one thing to go willingly sell your arse on the corner but it is different when you have to give head to stay out of jail.

I don’t know anything about his particular case either. This case might not be OP’s best example to show his point. But I have noticed “human trafficking” being tossed about more frequently even to describe old fashioned whores.

I'm going to take a guess and believe the woman is a Prostitute who offered blow jobs as payment being that the only work she knows. Then later changed her mind and threw the dude under the bus.

They got caught as part of a human trafficking investigation. The cops were investigating one crime and found another. Not surprising.
The college cheating scandal came to light because a guy accused of securities violations blew the whistle. The original investigation had little to do with where it led.
You want them just to ignore where it finds, or should we maybe let LEOs go where the case leads them?

I think it is pretty bad.
Is LEO going to try to make everything into a human trafficking investigation? Sure. I bet they get grants from the Feds to do it. The problem, though, is a real one on the big corridors.
