This. He also is a notorious liar. Claimed he was Elvis Presley's favorite wrestler and Elvis would 'sneak' into the Mid South Coliseum to see him wrestle only problem is Elvis was dead long before Hogan wrestled in Memphis

His NWO entrance music was badass.

He absolutely refused to put guys over and played politics worse than any other this side of Kevin Nash.
He's not the only one though. Triple H, Shawn Michael's, John Cena, Randy Orton have all buried talent or outright gotten them released. Stone Cold walked out because he didn't want to put Brock over. Hulk's creative control was a product of what was going on at WCW at the time. I've said before that he was an a-hole behind the scenes, (the Undertaker has a really good story on that) but it wasn't because he was looking out for himself and his career.

If tweet fails to load, click here. I honestly did not know this.
I rescind my statements about his character from earlier ITT after seeing this. Good to see he was becoming a better person the last year and a half. of his life.

I met him and Randy Savage in a Bed Bath Beyond. In Clearwater. Heard the voices, walked around the corner and saw them discussing thread counts in sheets. Stood there shaking my head and laughing.
“Hey man, know anything about thread counts?”
Finally got a lady to come and explain to them.

My money is on McCartney. Kieth Richards discovered the perfect drug cocktail and is going to outlive us all.

Austin’s beef was putting Brock over on free TV with no promotion beforehand.
It would have been akin to the Hogan vs Goldberg title match WCW had on free TV which popped one rating but blew millions in potential PPV revenue by giving it away.
Austin was notoriously tough to deal with in WWF but that one was reasonable on his behalf.
Refusing to work with Jeff Jarrett blurs more lines such as old wounds going back to starting out in Memphis combined with Jarrett doing a promo attacking the Austin 3:16 catchphrase which Austin saw as Jarrett endangering his merchandising money.

It's ironic, as Hogan once made major headlines by being "The Third Man."

I definitely rescind my earlier comments. He had definitely turned his life around.
I feel like an arse now.
