Everyone that I continue to keep contact with has gone on to marry well and are very successful in life.

Not sure what most are doing...I'm ~12 years out.
I think the majority live in LA still with another portion in Houston. I had some really smart guys in my class...I know a few are doctors, one is a mechanical engineer after going to Stanford (and getting his Masters there). A handful work in finance/accounting and seem to be doing fine. I don't know many that are fast-tracked in the business world but I keep track of maybe 10% of the class via FB.
We had two guys die while I was in high school but I haven't heard of any more deaths since then.

Pretty much the same for me. This will be 13 years next month. Hardly speak to most of them and the snooty ones still think they're all that.
Think they had a 5yr when I was in Afghanistan. Wife and I did not participate in the 10. Saw pics, glad I didn't go.
I moved back home after military and avoid the grocery store. Small town where people remember me and I don't remember them. I'm not unsocial either, but live outside of the town and do my business in the bigger town nearby.

You avoid the grocery store bc you might run into someone you went to high school with 13 years ago?
About three years after high school I ran into a girl I went to school with my whole life and I didnt even recognize her she was so fat. She was a cheerleader in high school. I was pretty embarrassed but I mean I still am not going out of my way to go shopping

I think we have a bunch former hs nerds on here with all of the bitterness and not wanting anything to do with former hs classmates

No. I don't want to get caught in a conversation with someone I might not remember. Not afraid, just one of those places that is the town staple. FWIW my dad is an attention whore and he loves going to the store

Grew up in Georgia. Live in Nashville now. There are three people that I went to high school with that live here and I was friends with. I havent seen or tried to meet up with any of them since I moved here.
The only news I get on my graduating class is the gossip my parents tell me when either I see them or talk to them on the phone. I dont have facebook.
I know two have died. No clue how one died, but the other was crushed by a rock working in a quarry.

Attended my 45 th a few months ago. They asked me to proof read the list of those passed. Sad. They wanted to make sure no one was missed.

Nope. Just don't really care about a bunch of people that were only in our lives for a short while. Unlike a bunch of jocks on here, HS wasn't the highlight of our lives.

I graduated from Redemptorist high school of Baton Rouge in 1985. I know a few died from overdoses, a couple from car accidents and at least one was murdered. But, I didn't like most of those frickers in school so I sure as hell ain't looking them up to see how they are doing.
One strange thing is that my best friend in high school is battling cancer just as I am. He seems to be doing much worse though.

I went to school with a few that are quite wealthy that you'd have never expected.
One girl, that I would have probably put in the 10 best looking in my class, has like 3 baby daddies and has been all strung out on drugs for decades.
