I live in New Orleans but I will play anywhere within a 2 hour drive. That's how much I love to play golf

And I will drive 30 min to your house and ride those 2 hours with you so you're not lonely.
And to party in the way Los Tres Loco Hombres de Nitro fiesta.

he called me a girl...

maybe it's my name "ell"

I can't justify consistently playing at a place like latour where my game is at right now. If I consistently get down into the 80s, I could see myself traveling for better courses. Not yet though.

I hear ya.
We'll play eventually.

Get your swing dialed in ell, you sexy bitch.

Hit the range today and worked on tempo and very slow back swing and pause...was pounding driver so far I could not see it. 7 irons were flushed. Amazing how much tempo gets away from you

Went to the range today and hit SW, GW, and LW 50-80 yards for about an hour. Getting the hang of hit pretty good. I have a new swing glove that's helping me not break my wrists

About to call around and see what courses in BR are open today. I really need to go hit balls on a decent range. Hoping beaver creek will be a go

I spent time in my shop last night hitting into the net. I spray painted in neon pink a spot 3 feet in front of my hitting mat. I watched the ball go over spot over and over

janky, thanks for the tips yesterday. went to the range today. felt weird but i was able to keep my elbow in front (or at least at the side). contact was for the most part more consistent. distance was a little better. the best thing is that i never got stuck and didn't hit any roping hooks

The hook was your miss?
Did ya put a headcover under your armpit and try to take some cuts?

the hook was my more frequent miss. getting stuck and blocking it way right was my other.

didn't try the headcover but I will. hoping to get back out there this afternoon. i'll see if my 8 y/o girl will come out with me so I can compare videos

eta: when my timing was on I played well (mid to upper 70's). problem is that I have been way too inconsistent (easily into upper 80's and 90's) and more practice did not help. it was an obvious swing flaw that was killing my game.

After receiving tips on here I've been practicing keeping my right elbow from flying and it seems to help with my swing plane. My index is down to 5 and I'm hitting it much more consistently. Still have a ways to go. Thanks Janky and others who offered advice

Why

Nicklaus made a few bucks with a flying right elbow
