Mine started off strong with nice new years vacation after a successful 2025…

2 months in I’m swamped at work, stressing about work on weekends, trying to workout and managing stress in a healthy way, but just started vaping again this week to help deal with stress without weed and alcohol.

News everyday is depressing as hell, no football on, feel no interest in tv. Podcast , or music like I used to last year.

But I gotta lock in and Man the frick up and get the work done. I’m freaking miserable at work right but the next 2 months will set the tone for rest of the year. I’m going to suck it up and kick this year in the fricking mouth.

How you guys doing?

Going good. GF got laid off of her job a couple of weeks ago, but she's already accepted another. We are healthy, in good spirits, families are healthy, and the weather has been nice. Got a lot to be thankful for.

If it makes you feel any better, it doesn't matter. Worst case scenario they fire you and you work somewhere else.

Most likely you're doing equal or better than your peers and their perspective is they'd be upset to lose you.

Swamp arse season seems to be hitting early this year and crawfish are still over $5 a pound, so terrible.

Pretty good thus far.

Pretty damn busy and we are typically slow this time of year. Will be engaged within the year, setting up my stands and feeders at my chick’s parents in a few weeks, Lane debuting for LSU and blessed to have my merged group of friends still from high school and college that I talk to daily as well as most as my family and their good health!

Up and down. Got slammed by the ice storm and that's cost us thousands of dollars in tree removal, no power for over a week in the zero degree weather but pushed a very high profile project out the door at work at the same time.

I'm not overly impressed with 26 so far.

Retired, wife still works part time. My vision has gone down pretty bad the past couple years in my mid 50s. Ice storm was rough. Overall been nice weather the last month. Have kids still in HS and a daughter (no pics) in Houston, have a grand baby I’ll go see this weekend..so far health is good, treating my body bad in my 30s hasn’t got to me yet. So far so good.

Eta: Except vision part. Just need reading glasses, books, texts, typing on here can be rough. Don’t need glasses yet outside of those things.

Thankfully it has been great so far. Had some back problems and took the tip of my thumb off at the beginning of it but that's all healed up now. I've been crushing my savings/investing goals, wife is going to the gym and losing weight, and work has been busy but not busy enough to have to work fridays/Saturdays. Haven't been drinking much (a beer here and there on weekends) and my sleep has been awesome. We've been getting serious about having a kid so that's been fun. Hopefully have some good news about that soon. Life has been pretty good for me especially considering that I'm retarded.

Hope work gets better for you. You doing anything to try and help with stress?

Not great so far. Cancer came back last month and I had surgery two and a half weeks ago (for the second time now).

Work is okay. We've been slow but it's starting to pick up a little, which is a good thing.

Family is good, so that's good.

All in all, not too bad as long as the cancer chills the frick out moving forward.
