We’d be the healthiest and safest nation on Earth and definitely the more prosperous. We’d be worse at basketball and football, but baseball would still be amazing. Pop culture would be better off as well.

About the same. Warring tribes enslaved their rivals because there was financial in entive to do so. Without that incentive, most captives would have been slaughtered instead. There was an inflow of money to the victorious tribes, so perhaps they’d be worse off today, if that’s possible. I know the people that were enslaved would have been worse off, as they would have likely been murdered and their grumpy ancestors wouldn’t exist today.
