Cotton would still have been in demand and people would have found a way to grow it.

Probably some form of sharecropper/indentured servitude system, leading to a big labor and union movement In the south, quicker advances in technology.

Trying to figure out where all of that would have lead us to today, who knows. Probably a lot different.

Chicago, New Orleans, St.Louis, Newark, etc would have less paramedics and cops.
