How would America be different if slaves were never brought over?

I’ve seen mentioned (and I agree) that one of our biggest mistakes as a nation was brining in enslaved blacks from Africa. So that brings up the question, what would be different if we hadn’t have gotten involved?
1) the economy
How would farming and such have been different? Would we have relied on more of a “hiring” system for these tasks? Would we have just enslaved the natives?
2) race relations
I think it’s pretty obvious we wouldn’t have had near the issues as we see now or through history, but how would things be for blacks here now, that would have emigrated on their own free will? Would they be better off? Would they have been treated differently through history (I.e. not looked down upon)?
3) what about things in Africa?
What would their economy look like? Would it be better? Worse? I know a lot of money/goods traded hands into these nations as a result of the trade.
Know it’s a lot of words/questions but I’m alone on the 4th and got to thinkin

Well we wouldn’t have too many crybabies

Well, if it wasn’t for slavery there would be almost no blacks in the US, and black culture is the best part of America, so.......... slavery was actually good???

but with no thugs getting "athletic scholarships" there'd be more true scholar athletes

Well considering slavery was globally at the time there is no scenario where this makes sense

We would have half the crime is the only thing you can really tell the difference due to the numbers posted up by the 4%.
