I fricking hate that. A proper name with a double-'i' ending is supposed to be the version Latin of the plural form a tribe/nation-name; until it ruined by shite-for brains "parents" giving their offspring these retarded-arse travel-ball names.
What's really frustrating is when an otherwise, attractive lady has a fricked name like that. I'll never be able to respect her, or forgive her parents this travesty.

Know a girl named Shantelle (yes, it's spelled accurately, if not correctly) who named her kid Rydder (again, more of the same). She thought it was pronounced like Red Ryder, except that it was spelled like "Ridder". Nobody could change her mind. Now her kid is about 15 and been going through life not knowing how to spell his name.

I didn't realize Cannon was so popular. I don't think I know of anyone who has named their kid Cannon.
That really does suck that it is a common name of sorts. It would be cool if there was one kid named Cannon.. maybe.. But once names go mainstream, that sucks.
I'd name my kid something like Rambo. My last name is Williams.. So Rambo Williams sounds like a good football name.
