Caribbean MDs can get a good Residency if you know or related to the right people.

I know I will get shite on but the acceptance rate to dental school is less than medical school. Veterinary school is even harder to get in that dental school.
When I was in dental school, many people in my class lived with med school students. We wished we had their life. You can’t imagine the grind of dental school.
The hard part of med school is the residency after graduation. Dental school has the residency incorporated into the 4 years which is one of the reason dental school is so difficult. Not to mention we take the same courses med school takes the first two years combined with the dental courses on top of that.
It’s a bitch for sure. But society will never believe this and think “you probably didn’t get in medical school so you became a dentist.”

I got a great residency program as an IMG by working hard during my elective rotation I did here. Didn’t really know anyone. But I guess I impressed them some kind of way because my step scores aren’t all that impressive by any means

That question and what you have in the body of your message does not align. The headline asks to become a MD versus the body is all about getting into medical school.
There should be plenty information available for you to determine your chances of getting into a specific school. If you are open to going to less known schools, you should have plenty options. That assumes you worked hard and are at least average intelligence.
As far as becoming an MD from everyone I know that became doctors, it isn't very hard. I know my opinion of doctors changed greatly after seeing the folks I went to school with (HS and undergrad) become doctors. Growing up, I used to think doctors were the "smart" folks but then I realized most of the "smart" people I know did not become MDs.
I know plenty folks who are not that intelligent become MDs and some with very complex specialties. I had to tutor some of them in undergrad. It is even scarier to see who from my high school class has become MDs. I will say that it does take a lot of work once you are in there. The way I look at it as long as you are average intelligence and are willing to put in the effort and put yourself into the financial situation (debt, foregoing pay for a while) you can become a MD.
The biggest correlation to becoming a doctor is not intelligence but rather how willing you are to go into debt and prolong your education before making money. The next factor is how much you are willing to work at it. Intelligence would actually be far down the list.

This isn't true. They have all the same privileges as MD's. With the merging of the ACGME this year, MD's can even get osteopathic fellowships.

And It’s harder to get into a PT program.....
Wonder why...? Because there’s not as many admissions open like with med school...
I know my nephew didn’t get accepted into dental school because he couldn’t pass the mirror image exercise...smart kid as well... Wound up becoming a pharmacist.
