“Dr Edith Branco-Sanchez”

Female doctor with hyphenated Latino name. Surprised they didn’t include her pronouns at the end of her bio.

Meh. It's a personal decision. Get it or don't, your choice.

When it finally fully reopens and you catch it it's on you if you passed on a vaccine.

And to think, anyone who lives by CNN should understand the term, “My body, My Choice”.

This is fair enough for me. I respect someone's right to be vaccinated if that is their wish. I fully expect them to respect my right not to because I'm not.

Their body, their choice. My body, my choice

I heard a few weeks ago on a radio commercial "Don't be selfish, just stay home"

it is now selfish to leave the house

It's a personal choice that should be mocked. I meant respected, lol.

But... let's be honest... we as a society have lost all abilities to have normal, rational conversations. We need to teach people how to speak to each other, cause a bunch of people clearly never learned how.

It’s the craziest thing. I’m healthy, under 50, busy, and a procrastinator. People I know are getting pissed at me because I haven’t gotten vaccinated yet. They are telling me I’m endangering them, which makes no sense since they have been vaccinated. This whole you must get the vaccine right now crowd is strange.

Maybe we are hesitant because of past vaccine issues. Like when the polio vaccine infected millions of people with a monkey virus (SV40).

That's the way I look at it.
If we're comparing to the Spanish flu of 1918, no one got a vaccine and it finally mutated away.
Getting a vaccine now essentially only helps the receiver. A coworker getting a vaccine will not affect me at all.

Because the rhetoric has been set by our "leaders" that in order for them to allow normal life to resume, more people need to get vaccinated.

They really don't care about you getting the vaccine for your personal health. They care that the more people that get the vaccine, the better the chance of 100K in Tiger Stadium this fall. Or the better chance of a Labor Day Cruise, etc.

That people who didn't graduate high school think they know more about the safety of vaccines, then a bunch of doctors and scientists.

If someone doesn't want to get the vaccine because they don't think it's necessary, that's cool. But the fact that uneducated people are attacking medical professionals and scientists, yeah, that deserves to be mocked.
