Does any Juan have a recipe for getting life to slow down? It seems the more days and years that pass the more hectic life becomes. What are you guys doing on the weekend after a long work week?

get diangosed with ALS and live with it for a decade or two. That will feel like an eternity.

Find a good hobby and dive deep into it. Mine is electric guitar.

There was a study that said time seems to slow when you’re young because there are so many new experiences and activities. As we get older and find comfort in our routines time seems to speed up.
Get out and experience new things again.

No idea. My kids are growing up fast. I’m watching the weeks fly past.

Get in charge of the stuff. Set your priorities and expectations and breathe

Momma always said you get out of life what you put into it. It’s easy to get caught going through the motions. A fulfilling life is one spent doing what you love with who you love

Dont buy cattle or you'll have to work the weekends too.

Yeah, if you get stuck in a repetitive routine your life will fly by.

New experiences.
Diet. Nothing slows down the time between meals quite like hunger.

Working some more usually, my job spills over in to the weekend way more than I want it to.
Balance is key, though, schedule some time for you.
I’m going to be blasting pheasants this time next week, for example, can’t freaking wait.

Engage in pointless arguments with strangers on the internet. That will definitely retard your life.

Was coming to post this.
Doing the above takes gall, dedication, and courage.
I sold a business last year that I toiled and stressed over. Took basically a year sabbatical to be with family.
Began another business and in the process of opening a business overseas. The new experiences over the past couple of months have definitely slowed down time.
Also, disconnecting away from devices, reading and journaling helps be in the present.
