Not me!

I have a Daytime hooptie big tint. I have a Nighttime hooptie little tint.

Why do you want tinted windows?

Tint doesn’t block heat is my point. And sunglasses are fine for light.

I had a dermatologist complete the form when I was in high school. This was back in the 90s so not sure if things have changed.

My front windshield is 15” down, back window double blackout, and side windows blackout. Been like this on all my vehicles since 1997.

0 tiny tickets in 21 years. My cousins whose a state trooper tested me side window of my old ranger and it registered .005. Put a mag lite to it and couldn’t see it shining through.

Long story roll the dice if you want tinted windows

tinted windows stick out like a sore thumb on white cars and less noticeable on darker cars unless you use mirror tint (now this is dumb mirror tint)

And that’s your opinion. The law and difference on regulations are stupid and all over the place. It’s just another law on the books for no reason but to generate Revnue and give a reason for a stop. That’s it. And magically elected officials are exempt. Like the district 3 comtroller needs to be hidden.

If window tint is good enough for police officers private vehicles and politicians, it should be good enough for everyone else.

frick the police. I bet his cruiser was tinted.

1. Cops private vehicles are not tinted any more than your private vehicle

2. Cops need tinted windows so some frickhead can’t spot their outline and start blasting through the window. If people didn’t ambush cops, we could all have tinted windows

Oh wow. You are special. When has this happened????? Every police cruiser on the force isn’t tinted. Some are and some aren’t. Most of the Un marked cars here are and that’s makes no Sence either.

Point is. Why is it illegal?? Driving Safety? Ok. How is it unsafe? So a cop knows who’s in the vehicle upon stop? Cop can see you upon approaching your vehicle?

I’ve heard many of the reason and all are bull shite.

Unsafe? How? Can’t see at night when backing? Ok. So legal vs illegal tint. Law states that No limit on the rear window. So by having the sides light or no tint, that’s help you see through the back better than being tinted? And also tell me if it’s a safety issue, why are cars rear passenger windows are limited to a certain percentage but not trucks and suvs? So cars are harder to see out of at night than trucks and SUVs? Are law enforcement and public officials that have this sent through special training for driving with dark windows??? How isn’t it a banger for them but for joe citizen.

Police knowing who’s in the vehicle. In LA. The car is an extension of your home. Will law makers be able to remove our curtains and make a law that anyone can see in our house? Then why my car.

Again. This is one of the idiotic laws that was put into place when they needed revenue generating legislation. And it always depends on the cop and if the Parrish/city need extra cash that month. You don’t hear shite for years and then one month there is a task force set up.

It used to be you could just buy Mike Edmonson a couple of drinks at Chris’ and this type of thing would’ve been taken care of. But the new regime at LSP is about being “ethical” now.
