How to get bad smell of cabbage out my house?

Just had my beans and cabbage for New Year’s. Now it smells in here. Any ideas besides Lysol?

Heat up a bowl of sardines in the microwave. No more cabbage smell.

Light a couple of matches and wave the smoke around. I don’t know why but it seems like match smell kills any other smell. Matches are not the worst smelling thing and clears out pretty fast.

No. Don't do this. Your house will reek of vinegar. But, your smell of cabbage will be gone.

Excellent advice. Don't even really need to heat it either. Just put a little vinegar in a couple saucers and place them through the house. Odor will be gone before you know it. Also works to remove the smell of cigarette smoke from a house within about 24 hours.

Intentionally burn a bag of popcorn in the microwave. That smell will then dominate the house.

One of the benefits of being prescribed Warfarin is I never have to smell cabbage in my house.
