How to Get a Six Pack of Beer from Dallas to Asheville?

I've been in Dallas for a few weeks and have developed a taste for Bitter Sisters' Brewery's Hissy Fit marzen larger beer. I want to take a six pack back to Asheville to share with a friend. My SO and I will be flying Southwest, and she will have checked luggage.
Can I put a six pack in her checked luggage? Will it get through screening?

Yes. Put them in ziplock bags though just in case they spill. Wrap the bags with your clothes to protect them.

Yes. Just wrap them individually in t-shirts and place a layer of clothes above and below them. I do it all the time.
Hell, one day I took a day trip to Boston for a beer run and brought a suitcase and a duffle with nothing in them but bubble wrap and stuffed them full of beer. Made it home no problem.

Cause they make you pour out mouthwash at times, not sure they will allow aluminium cans or bottles with fluid.
Also, there's the whole alcohol across state lines thing.

You can bring your own property. I've taken wine from California several times. Brought tons of liquor to and from our condo in Florida as well. Never any issues.
