They could try to get him interested in cooking. It really helps you realize what's going into your body. Now that might be targeted more to high school years, but it never hurts to learn how to cook at any age.

Like everything else now’s the time to fix it with tough love. Similar thing happened with my niece and it’s carried into adulthood.
It wasn’t in her genes but her parents didn’t address the stress eating and laziness when they had the chance.

As someone else said there isn’t that stigma anymore and now we have a national crisis looming with diabetes etc.

Tell him "no" every so often so he isn't making a fool of himself running in the streets tearing up shite, with jon killing hair and piercings in 10 years.

He can do what my father and step mother did to my step brother. Just make fun of him harder than he gets it at school. Fat shame him to oblivion at home. They used to call him Tree Trunk Legs and made earthquake sounds even when he was running and being healthy. They stopped by food at the house.

Yeah, he has a complex. But now he is skinny. He is dating a girl who just built a 400k house in middle of nowhere Mississippi with her parents money and moving in with her. So I think he is fine.

All they have to do is just stop feeding him anything with sugar in it and keep him moving by pushing active hobbies and limiting the video games.

You can’t expect a young kid to make healthy decisions. Anyone with a fat kid under 16 is a lazy arse and needs to take better care of their children

DCFS should be involved with some parents that lets their kids get so fat.

My 9 year old has started to get a gut just like I did at his age. I regularly call him chubby and keep him in check while explaining he should want to eat better so he can stay healthy. He enjoys carrots and Caesar salad now. Good kid.

Show him this picture and tell him this is his future if he doesn't get off his arse. Kid will be a navy seal by the end of the week.

Have a sit down with him about the perils of not being able to see your own dick.

Both my son were big kids until around 13yrs old. Football and a growth spurt slimmed up the oldest. The youngest is in his growth spurt now and will play football when or if we can. They have been active outside since the Corona scare started. They are fishing and swimming everyday.

This. Mine just turned 13. Practices baseball and basketball all day and goes to CrossFit classes. We also eat healthy and don’t allow sweets in the house. It starts with the parents though. They have to be strong enough to fight the child’s wants for sweets and bad shite. Many parents just don’t want to deal with the fight.

I always go back to something my vet told me once when one of my dogs wasn’t eating. It wasn’t a health issue. He said “there’s never been a case of a dog committing suicide by starvation.” When the child gets hungry enough they’ll eat.

It’s sad. I see this shite all over the place now. Obese kids who have no chance in life because their parents are too lazy or unwilling to stop feeding them junk constantly and cook healthy meals for their family.

I see this among a host of black families in grocery stores. Unfortunately they usually look just like the fat waddling behemoth momma.

Do the opposite of this:

The reason he is so big is that he eats like Joey Chestnut every single day.
