How old were you when you had your first kid?

My parents were 30. My Grandparents were 23. I don't have kids and I don't think I'll have any until I'm in my mid 30s.

2 days before my 34th bday. Wife and I both went back to Masters, we’re financially stable, debt-free, and mature enough to make sacrifices. Couldn’t have planned it any better.

22. Definitely scary at the time, but wouldn’t change a thing.

30. Had the last at 39. Honestly wished I had started at 35 and got a few more things done first

First kid was when we were both 25. The fourth and final was when we were 29. Our youngest is 28 now. We thought about having a fifth, and we both now wish that we had. Great kids, great times! We are expecting our fourth (July 5) and our fifth (Dec 22) grandkids this year.
ETA: We were so poor that we couldn’t go out to eat or on vacations. But now I need to shine shoes to purge my privilege.

37. She is now 2 1/2. While I'm in pretty good shape, my suggestion is keep up with yourself if you plan to have them in late 30s. Kid is an Energizer Bunny.
But got alot of traveling and stuff done so I'm happy. One and done though for me.

She's due in October so I'll be 34.

This is a very good suggestion. If you are in decent shape then kids aren’t a problem. If you just got unfit or fat, like so many over 30 do, you in trouble

I had just turned 38.
I should have waited until I could retire in time for travel ball.
