Wash as in with soap? Or just a quick rinse?

If you aren’t a healthcare provider and wash your hands more than 10 times per day you probably have some sort of compulsive disorder.

Maybe a half dozen. During cooking and after pooping. Also shower twice a day so technically washed in there as well.

Depends on the number of dates with your wife, mom, gf, sister, and granny.

Not washing my hands and giving them a UTI is a dead giveaway. Totally amateur move.

0-10 for sure. I don’t have all day to be washing my hands. I’m trying to build an immune system.

Here is something to ponder from about a century ago.

Human life expectancy for thousands of years was about 42. Suddenly it jumped to 66 in a single generation.

A cure for cancer?
A life extending drug?
Medical advances of the era?
Diet?
Exercise?

NONE of the above, a simple thing went mainstream (tho aided by WW I and the Spanish Flu)

People started washing their hands!

FWIW, the greatest investment in the past 100 years was not oil, real estate, technology, retail, or metals. It was common ordinary soap as when folks washed their hands and started living longer, they had more years to consume the one product that offered notable live expectance extension at a fairly cheap cost.

Less than 10. Anything more than that is compulsive.

15-20

I work with some nasty motherfrickers and sometimes after even touching the fridge handle I feel compelled to wash.

Not often. Maybe once a day unless I am working in the yard. I have an extremely strong immune system after 53 years that I attribute to not overly obsessing about hygiene since I was a kid playing outside everyday.
