How often do you start to reply, then realize you don't care that much and stop?

I find myself bored at work hitting reply, then after typing a few words, ask myself, "why do you give a shite enough to type this out". Then I just hit back and go on with mindlessly reading random threads.

Instead of doing what most people will do and make a joke...100%.

But i do this all the time. Start saying something and then mid sentence just decided i dont care and stop. People will say "You gonna finish that thought?" and i just say "Nah, frick it"

I do it often. It usually happens when I'm revealing something about my personal life or beliefs that get too personal or I just know no one gives a frick about

Not often enough. I contribute little when I respond.

Oh, I fully expected this to mostly be blank responses or half sentences. Those are the types of things I think "hey, let me post that", but before I hit submit, I'm like, "WTF am I doing with my life".

I don't pretend to be above it. I still hit submit 50% of the time.

Probalby 2 out of 5 posts that I star to reply to, I simply say, "meh...it's not worth it" and back out.

Purposely ignoring. Another example of responding too much! I need to go back off the radar.
