I paid $185 a square foot. 5 years later the newer homes where I live are going for over $215 a square foot. frick this world.
If my wife would let me, I would move to East Texas on a ranch for $2000 an acre and never see a person for a week.

I paid $165/ft and stuck about $50/ft into it about 5 years ago

Built a year ago on the lot we bought for $131/sqft. Could’ve been much lower had the wife not gotten into the high end finishes.

Built recently. Over 200 per SQFT. If you want a few things it adds up quickly.

$191 with the lot, so around $165 for the house build. this was 2 years ago.

they are currently at $220.

165 a foot. Houses were going for more when I bought it but they were going through a divorce and it had been sitting for to long .


They say, I use that term lightly, based on homes sale comps in area that it’s “worth” 230 a foot now. Which is crazy to much if you ask me.
