Family dynamics, particularly around Christmas, can be tough. Not sure I'm one to advise as I'm no longer close to my sister. My wife's no longer close to her siblings. Parents are all dead. Won't go into the why's.

I would say it should always be a goal to put differences aside. You won't have your family forever. I'm sure there are some here that have lost close family members and would do anything to have them back.

My take in a perfect world keep trying. Be the bigger person. Appreciate what you do have because it won't be there forever.

Ever tried using one of these?

I'm almost 32 and will never have a wife or kids. My brother is almost 35 and is married with a 2 year old son and 13 year old stepdaughter. My parents are about 20 mins away. They all do stuff with his wife's family and it's just weird for me.
