Liberals in Chicago run a lot of cash only businesses. It helps them hide their income and not pay their fair share.

credit card transaction fees are starting to be passed on to the user meaning many businesses will be adding the 2%-4% that they are currently paying for the privilege to accept cards.

Which is ridiculous. I know my dad's provider only charges 1/2% on all transactions, and he just pays it, it's figured into his hourly rate.

They're already obsolete. People do use both of course, but that doesn't mean they aren't outdated.

About 5 years ago I was shocked when I got a haircut and they were cash or check only. I had to run to the ATM. Of course this is a little local place, but one of the few I've ran across that only take cash or checks. I thought everyone had come around to cards, but I guess it helps some to only take real money.
