Not for nothing, but that makes you kinda high risk.

Wait till you hit the family of 4.
Or the lowlife that's been denied SSDI 3 times that saw a Gordon commercial that day.
In this state, you better fricking have a shitpot of insurance.

I can't answer the question offhand, but in 2005, I had my work truck stolen from in front of my house. I bought a new truck and 3 months later it got flooded by 6 feet of water on Katrina. So progressive paid 2 claims within 3 months that came to approximately $35K.

About $4K in premiums, one claim for $18K.

I have no idea on how much I've paid for two cars during that time.
The only claim that I had was for a stolen car that ended up getting totaled. I guess that was about $10K and the insurance company was very prompt and fair with how it was handled.

For my car...Average around $100 a month for 15 years, so $18,000-$20,000. No claims.
On my semi, paid $24,000 a year first two years. So, $48,000 total. No claims. Frick insurance for owner/ops

Maybe $6-7k in premiums and 0 claims.
On the other hand, USAA just sent me an email saying I will get a $5.88 dividend applied to my bill this year. So I got that going for me...which is NICE.

It doesn’t seem worth it until something happens & you need it
I don’t miss 135.00 a month, I’d be in a bind to come up with a big cash down payment on a new car unplanned
Unfortunately I’m not an OT Baller

Love USAA. Kind of annoyed they raised my premium this year. No claims. No tickets. Actually reduced my annual driving from 15K to 8K and rate went up. Not a big hike, but still fricked up.
All because of the area I live in. Not my fault everyone around me sucks.

About $20k in premiums. Had 0 in claims until the flood. It took two vehicles and had roughly a $60k comprehensive claim.
