Bought engagement ring for about 400 and both bands later as about an 800 dollar set.

So you paid $$$$ for a ring your wife will only wear for the short period of time while she is engaged?

Who's the stupid one here?

Why would someone pay a shite ton of money for a ring that isn't worn for long?

I can't believe how many people are fricking p-ssies about rings.

Well my husband didn't spend a fortune on mine...and I love it and will wear it for my entire marriage(excluding pregnancy if my fingers get too swollen to wear rings).

But it's not uncommon at all for women to wear their engagement rings after they are married. Again, personal preference really and nothing indicating a woman's intelligence level.

Only a specific type of woman would say something like that.

Again...logic.

My wife wears hers everyday. I spent around 10k. It's not a great investment, but she has worn it everyday for 6 years.

This conversation has been had many times on here. For the record, I think it's dumb to pay 40k for a vehicle.

Bitchez love sparkly things. That being said, I think it's dumb to spend a lot of money on a ring. The best choice seems to be buying a big fake ring and passing it off like a real one. Win/win.

No but I honestly wouldn't care if it was. As long as the setting was real.
