Mine is $24 per month and I have homeowners insurance through USAA which offers a discount that more than covers the cost.
I think most people do not realize that the insurance discount through most insurance companies will cover the monthly monitoring fee.

That's great advertising for when you go out of town. Guns are easy to sell in a pinch.
