I am aware that many who post on here change their own oil. But for those of you who don't, how much do you pay for an oil and an oil filter change?

I received a coupon for what I think looks like a pretty good deal. I would have to purchase up front in full, but it works out to $33.33 each for 3 oil & oil filter changes, for synthetic oil, up to 5 quarts. My vehicle uses 7 quarts, so there would be a slight upcharge.

Still a good deal?

I pay 40 something for oil change, tire rotation and top up any fluids that need it. Very worth it to me.

$33 for full synthetic is an excellent deal.

I've been paying ~$25 for synthetic blend at Firestone bc they have a $10 off coupon on their website literally 365 days a year.

I'm going to pull the trigger on this deal as I can't imagine this type of service is going to become less expensive over time.

That’s a damn good deal for full synthetic…especially with the lubricant price increases of the past 12 months. Hell, $60 is a really good deal for full synthetic.

On the low end, you will spend $21 for 5 quarts of Supertech synthetic and a bottom end Fram filter. About $30 for Mobil 1 and the same filter both at Walmart.

That should help you with your decision.
