$75 dollars for broadband, and the only “TV” I pay for is Netflix, and it’s about to go bye bye.

Absolutely, the key is to not have any trees or other obstructions in the way of the satellite. If you do, you're golden. I've got speeds up to 189 out in the middle of nowhere. Latency is low too. Elon is looking to extend speeds on Starlink up to 10 gig as well.

Awesome, I’d love to drop Cox who I only have for internet. When Starlink becomes available I may go with them.

I pay $100 for Cox, 500 mb/sec. I don’t have cable or satellite. I stream everything. Pay for Netflix and ESPN. I’m on the fence about cancelling Netflix.

Is that fiber? I really want that. Cox has had some issues. Hasn’t been totally terrible, but enough to annoy me sometimes.

I think the moral to the story, 3 pages in, is everyone is paying more today than they were with old school cable. So much for ‘cutting the cord’. Another millineals failure.

Also, content of programming has gone to absolute shite.

T Mobile home internet $50
Streaming service: Netflix, Max, Hulu, Prime, Paramount, Peacock. Although we don't pay for every single one of those (only 2) so $2 for basic Hulu (black Friday deal last year) and $7 for Paramount and piggy back on the other platforms

Total: $60 a month
