Just based off what I have seen in the media, it is closer to 60/40 domestic/international. Plus her use of PJs has created quite the backlash from the environmental freaks, so 300 may be closer than you think.

She may have her captains and contractors as FOs. Who knows? There are a lot of ways to skin the corporate cat, so to speak.

My family members pilot runs both airplanes, so if she had 2 pilots that swapped off if needed or were both available that wouldn’t be a terrible schedule. She could have one lead and one back up that flies her second plane with friends, family, other people and then one for herself.

She maybe that busy idk, flying that often seems miserable and I just figured if she was on tour most dates she would be there for 3-4 days per city. So I’m not sure why she would be flying that much. But certainly her planes could be used more often for others.

Assuming most corporate guys make less than airline pilots? As far as on average in relation to a major domestic carrier? I’d assume people flying the big shots like Musk, swift, etc. most likely can make a damn good living.

But I’ve also seen more than once that there’s plenty of Learjet owners that are cheap and run their plane budget lean like a company.

It’s two different worlds. Most corporate guys make less than your average airline driver. However, there is a subset of corporate pilots that work for top tier employers and make beaucoup money. Taylor is probably one of those employers.

Not familiar with her crew requirements for the types she owns, but my guess is that insurance companies aren’t going to allow SPO with her on board.

But once again, this is all speculation on my part and for all I know Travis Kelce is getting typed in all her jets and will fly her after the NFL.

She better up the per diem or they are going to load their boxes and drag up because Drake is offering $50 just down the road.

300 days a year? Has that been posted?

I threw the 300 days a year number out there. I pulled it out of my arse but I think that’s an accurate number based on how much she travels and *if* she has dedicated pilots.

Edit: she’s not necessarily flying 300 days a year, but while she’s rubbing elbows at conference championships/super bowls, her pilots are hanging out at hotels away from their families. She’s not flying 300 days a year. Thats just what it would require to keep up with her. hottub did a good job of describing the business model in a previous post.

Celebs on that level will take a plane ride to go have dinner they are craving in another city.

Elvis used to do this, they live in a different world. And I GUARANTEE she isn’t randomly using all “sub-contractors”.

These pilots are vetted, and then their personalities grow on these Celebs and they just keep them in the rotation.

Also guarantee it’s just a rotation similar to offshore life but less strenuous in length. Maybe 7-10-14 days on, 7 off.

Contract pilots are usually used for those who don’t use their planes on a consistent basis. She’s always on hers so she probably has at least 4 on staff and they are most likely certified to fly either aircraft.

With that kind of money, I'd have a professional vet and hire my own full-time crews.

Or, vet and then insist on the same crews from a staffing agency and let them handle the HR and ongoing aviation related quals overhead.

If I'm that rich and famous, I'm not going to cheap Charlie the PIC and right seat slots.

Do the pilots just hang out in Tokyo or London when she has a five night run of concerts at the same venue? It’s one thing for a corporate pilot for BOA to chill at Teeterboro airport for 5 hours after a 1.5 hr flight from Charlotte to NY, waiting to fly the executives back after a meeting the same day. 5 days would be weird.

Depends on the need. I was talking to a charter pilot the other day and he said he flew in a family to a ski resort town, he will spend three days skiing while they vacation, and then fly them back.

My last company had 2 pilots who were on call 24/7 for the company plane. I think they each pulled a base salary of $350k.

Being on call 24/7 and having to leave your fam for weeks on a whim of the CEO seemed pretty miserable.

Is that single pilot? Yeah seems kinda crazy to fly international with a single pilot, but maybe that’s a situation where you can have a pilot on staff and then have a second pilot contracted out for the handful of times a year she flies across the ocean?
