Bought a new truck this morning and the salesman is driving it to me now because they were putting some new tires and washing it and such which took all afternoon.

The baw is making money on the sale, but he's driving 30 minutes each way to give it to me so I feel like I should throw him a couple extra bones?

You have 30 minutes and my undivided attention

I got the side rails that drop down and upgraded to the Platinum model that also has a jack.

A couple inches should do it unless he’s fairly “active”.

Not a damn thing. He obviously is happy with the deal or he wouldn’t be doing it.

Believe me, your tip was included in the price you paid for the truck. You did him a favor by putting money in his pocket when you bought the truck. You don't owe him anything else. If the truck came from another dealership you already paid to have it shipped to your dealership.

I'd check to see that he filled the tank first. No full tank, no tip.
