Anyone have any tips on getting used to wearing them? I got mine about 4 months back and can't get used to them I feel like they almost make me dizy. I can see the difference when I wear them I see much clearer just having hell getting adjusted

Went to Warby Parker and it was pretty cheap. I want to say $110 all in with tax. Very happy with the style/quality.

I used an online store. Warby Parker they let you pick your glasses then ship them to you to try on. My glasses ended up costing me about $150.

Just wear them. You will adjust. If you are having major issues, go back to the Dr. You might need an adjustment. Also OP, my company pays for some generic frames that are ANSI, etc. The cheap frames hurt my face, and the lens never seem to be right. I have -4.75 script, so the thickness is retarded looking. I dropped the cash for an expensive frame this year, and the difference is amazing. My lens are thin, and the frames are light. Worth the extra cash for the upgrade.

It's been about 10 years, but I think I paid close to $400. Ridiculous!!!

Many years ago I had a pair of progressives that made me dizzy. Never could use them. If measurement's of pupil distance and height are done wrong that will cause a problem.

One good thing about using places like Lenscrafters is the follow up help and service. You can go back any time for adjustments and any type of maintenence you might need.
If you have a pretty complicated RX and a bigger than average head its always better to use an in store provider rather than go online.I tried Zenni and while insanely cheap I could never get glasses I was satisfied with.

$35...honestly not an insurance claim either... bought them online. Use only when I take my contacts out so wasn't a big deal. Tons of cool frames to choose to my door price. I wear contacts for 2 weeks day/night. I take them out to sleep then put in a new pair. Use glasses on that one night so wasn't important they be designer. Only use them at home.
This describes my spectacles use pretty closely. What website did you use?

Bought Oakley frames on Ebay sent frames and script to ReplaceALens in Denver. Seiko Trivex Progressives + Coatings...200.00 bucks. Had 2 sets done...best I've ever owned.

If you go online, how do you get all the measurements right for frame size, length of the arms, bridge and other measurements besides the prescription?

With insurance could have gotten free but went for best frames and lenses paid $200. insurance paid $1000.

Just bought 2 new pairs of glasses online for $100.
Insurance covered $120 worth of contacts for me which is a 6 month supply but I stretch that out to last a year.
Getting lasik at end of the year. Tired of all this shite with eyewear.

I use the Optometrist that leases space at the local WalMart. He took all the measurements. He could have cared less if I bought glasses at WalMart or not. Weird laws in Texas regarding Optometrists/Opticians about who can sell glasses and who cant.
