Late 80’s push mowed a couple yards, $10 for one yard and $12.50 for another. Looking on my OnX Hunting app, the $10 yard is .33 of an acre and the $12.50 yard is .28 of an acre. I got screwed by that $10 yard!

You sure this wasn’t the 60’a when a Coke was a nickel?

$5 an hour by my paw paw. Minimum wage was $4.25 at the time so I thought it was a good deal.
18 acres of fields and a yard. When I finished it was time to start over again

That would've been the 40s, wouldn't it? I'm pretty sure that Coke's were a nickel as soon as they started bottling it.

$50.00 per month at the K.C. Hall

$5. The lawn was comparable to a small urban lot that would currently fetch $25 today for a cut with no blow, and that was the late nineties.

My dad never mowed a lawn again after his first son turned 10.
My dad bought a nice new lawn tractor and mowed the yard with it once.
Then it was my job.

$6 in the early 70’s and they were 2-3 acre lots

Growing up my dad had "a guy" that did that. I never mowed a lawn in my life until I bought my own home.

I got to wake up every Saturday at 7:30 for free to cut my parent's 3/4 acre lot with a push mow, and supposedly I liked it. If I was really good, I got to reward myself on the Lord's Holy by washing the Suburban and the car after church.
