I’m guessing nobody’s using these things going forward. Disgusting

Not sure how much they spent. I’m guessing the food board would probably know

Let’s see, 3 kiosks per store for the 50 test stores

I’d imagine around 350

I read about a test they did in the UK that found fecal matter on like 90% of those things

if you are eating at mcdonalds the food is what you should worry about, not a dumb touch screen ordering system

and they reduced overhead and payroll by nearly 60% with those things so they are here to stay

Last time i went to taco bell, they had those video screens. It was cool cause it allows for crazy customized items. I got a 7layer burrito and added japs, crispy potatoes, and chicken. Thats not something id typically do if I had to communicate with a person. Why you ask? I have no idea.

Those are there to fight the $15/hour fast food worker threat. They aren't going anywhere.

I wash my hands before every meal. You can use it, and then wash your hands. It’s not really difficult.

Pretty sure the "things" that were tested were employees. The ones that need a sign in the bath room to remind them to wash their hands.
