As someone who has moved around more than I care to admit, some due to my own doings, some due to things beyond my control.
When I have stayed put, pay increases are fairly minor, even with a promotion. When I move, I get substantial pay increases.
I'm seeing numerous people here say they've been with their company a decade(s) or more.
Are you simply content? Getting reasonably raises? Enjoying the job even through all the years?
Genuinely curious.

I am in sales. I will change every time the wind blows for more money or better hours.

2 months but after 10 years of sales I’m glad to be in more of a consulting role with the sales on the softer side.

Officially retire 1/3/22. Prior to that 47 years. Damn, typing that out just made me feel old ........................

2 years at this one.
5 years at the last one.
1 year at that one
2 years at that one.
I take pay raises and move like a mofo. I know everyone told me not too but it's worked out for me.
