Spirit Airlines - prices

Today Spirit released their schedule for November 19 and into 2026. These prices are absurd. $294 for a one way from MSY to Ft Lauderdale. Do you think they will adjust their prices? In comparison, on November 18, this same flight is $54.

I know some of your live in Jefferson Terrace. There are about 15 to 20 cops surrounding the old school and have multiple roads blocked off. Any idea on what is going on? TIA

House flooded - personal property loss - tax deduction

My house flooded last year. FEMA didn’t cover all my personal property losses. I can deduct these on my federal return however Louisiana is not very clear. Can I deduct these on my state return?

House flooded in May. Floors/grout need a good cleaning from all construction and sheet rock dust. Anyone have recommendations on who to call? One person mentioned a company in Denham Springs area called Dr. Grout or Mr. Grout but can’t find anything on google. TIA.

Just drove by with major police activity. Yellow caution tape closing off the cvs shopping center and Inninwold. Anyone know what happened?

I appreciate it but it’s pretty deep on the road especially with a baby. Don’t feel to comfortable walking. Large bayou/drain at front of the neighborhood
