Only time I’ve ever recognized a celebrity on a flight was once on flight back from Tucson, AZ. Sitting right across the isle from me was Kirk Herbstreet. I can’t remember the exact year but it had to be sometime around 2007-2009 if I remember correctly.

Best celebrity I sat next to was Ben Crenshaw. Super nice guy. I still laugh when he asked me, "Do you play golf"? I told him, "You play golf, all I do is a chase a white ball around."

I was on a flight with Darren Sproles when he was on the Saints. Recognizing him as an NFL player was challenging.
You ain't lying. It took us 5 minutes to confirm we were sitting near Donte Jackson and his mom a few years ago at restaurant by Tanger in Gonzales.
He is NOT 5'10.

Now it was easy to spot Cobi Jones years ago walking to terminal at DFW.

I sat beside Bart Starr on a flight from Memphis to BHM. I wouldn’t have known him except for all the fricking bammers bothering him the entire 30 minutes of the flight.

I have no earthly idea who Andrew Gulotta is
Andrew Golota, is a polish former professional boxer(‘92 -‘13). He challenged 4X’s for the Heavyweight world title as a professional and as an amateur won bronze as a heavyweight at the 1988 Olympics. Infamous, for punching Riddick Bowe in the nuts multiple times in their Heavyweight title fight. He fought Bowe, Lewis, and Tyson among others.

Saw Marc Morial on a flight when he was mayor.
He flew coach. I guess he got bullied.

Willie Roaf (New Orleans Saints legendary Offensive Tackle for non-sports fans) boarded a SW flight (only coach seats) that I was already seated on. This was years ago before he got the big contracts after making All-Pro. He had two of his kids with him that were little at the time.
I didn't see him sitting since I was in front and he went toward back, but I assume he took all of a row with his kids so that he could fit. Very big dude.

I never notice.
But I swear my girlfriend is a celebrity whisperer.
Anytime she decides to go shopping, friggin Billy Bob Thorton or Rihanna.
When we decide to go out , the lead singer from Florence and the machine, Rosario Dawson, Trent Reznor, Lenny Kravitz, the dork from Dodgeball.
Meanwhile.. I got a baseball signed by John Goodman.

Jeff Brantley when he was announcing on ESPN. He and I flew together on four different occasions. He remembered me after the first flight together and was always fun talking to him about baseball, especially the SEC. He is a super guy.
