They will replace it all. CRT-D. Problem is, from the time it was installed to now, it sticks out a easy 3/4" and I hit it all the time. It's just under the skin. Wearing a seatbelt is out the question. Hoping they move it lower or deeper.

Oh, the wires will have to be changed too! They are on the St Jude recall list. Yep, three wires.

3-4 is probably normal for a lifetime. But some people are addicted to the sick role, whinier, and much less tolerant of normal aches and pains than others.

Some people are unlucky too (e.g., trauma).

I’ve had 10 I believe. I’ve been racing BMX since I was 14, so most are from that. Although my first BMX surgery wasn’t until I was 29. I’m 38 now. As far as X-rays and MRI’s, multiply that number by 3. Probably can’t have anymore kids, but I’m good.

Edit: 11, I forgot about wisdom teeth

I’ve had my turtleneck turned into a veritable objet d’art via circumcision at age Day 3.

All 4 Wisdom teeth extracted at age 22.

Tonsils removed when I was 32 years old.

So three surgeries in almost three score years.

Never broke a bone, never been admitted to a hospital, never had surgery, had flu twice in my life. Can't remember last cold.

Did get stapled up after a dustup in Fat City that's the extent or my ER visits though.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Sinus surgery, tonsils (but much later - in high school), wisdom teeth.

There’s a few elective surgeries I’d happy add to my list

I’ve had my back done 3 times. ‘98 they shaved the disc. ‘05 they “attempted” a L4-L5 fusion but the Dr was an a-hole :double bird: and didn’t like nerve readings so he yanked out the hardware and wished me luck. Monday was the 6 year anniversary of my L3-S1 fusion.

I had 3 scopes of my knee for football injuries before I made it to college. Along the way there’s just been 3 or 4 minor procedures.

It's a nice aroma when the surgeon hits that with the bovie (cautery)

bad perirectal abcsess with lots of thick yellow purulent drainage and he needed surgery to further drain the abscess
