1 - former coworker (retired) tested positive and died last week in the hospital. He was in his 70s and had some other medical issues. He was a really brilliant and kind person.

I had it. Only known exposure was at work (ER nurse) at New Hanover Regional in Wilmington, NC. Presumed positive initially until the test confirmed it. Extremely mild symptoms. Barely a blip on the radar in my case.

I don't know anyone well who has had it, but I know of several people who had it. One of them died from it.

Also, I know someone who came in contact with someone who tested positive. They have not showed any signs yet of having it, but they were in contact with that person about 11 days ago.

That is basically no one for me. Not none that has COVID-19Tracker, there is no person I have day in, day out personal contact with unless you include texting. Not even my wife.

If you talk about friends that I occasionally talk to or the parents of friends, then at least 4. 1 of which died. If you extend it to people my wife knows personally those numbers go up with at least 3 deaths of parents of peopl she grew up with. Most in a specific old folks home.

At least two people who fly out of of the same heliport I do tested positive as ove a week and a half ago. They work on the same facility.

1 - coworker in Seattle. She did everything to try to avoid it and still caught it. She had mild flu like symptoms that lasted about a week and is now fine.

but one is an ICU nurse in Nola and was telling me yesterday about the scene at his hospital and it sounds like a nightmare. Basically was saying how fast it hits people and there isn’t really anything they can do since there isn’t any protocols to follow.

According to the idiots on this board hospitals are not being impacted at all because some hospitals have even laid off some workers and someone passed by a hospital the other day and the parking lot was empty.

I am mocking the idiots on this board who doesn't think this is at all serious..

There has been 700 deaths in Louisiana

Only about .01% of our population

I think I have counted 100 “known” Louisiana deaths in this thread

Impressive probability
