talked to one of my friends today that just got over it, he said he wouldn’t wish that shite on his worst enemy. He went to the hospital, had pneumonia, didn’t get out of bed for 6 days.

Two friends of mine, both husband and wife, caught it. Both are 34 y/o and what we would consider pretty healthy. Virus put my buddy on his back for 10 days and his wife had a rough 2 days but felt fine after that. It should be mentioned that they live in NYC.

There is so much about this virus that is still a mystery and that is the scariest part about it.

I probably know 10-20 that have had the flu but we don’t count flu like COVID. Gotta know every COVID Case so we can all freak out.
Over the course of your life, how many people do you know that had the flu at some point? Likely hundreds, right? How many of those people died of the flu or pneumonia? Anyone? In your whole life?

Now look through this thread and count how many people know one or more people personally who died of covid19 just in the last month.

My girlfriend’s brother’s girlfriend’s dad had to get tested and self quarantine.

That’s all I got.

One. She's young though and seems to be doing ok. She's also kind of an attention whore so it may or may not be true.

I’m not talking about a friend of a friend, or someone you only know on Facebook, I’m talking about someone you personally know, you have a day in, day out personal contact with?

I know 2 guys in their late 30's who tested positive after travelling in early March; one went to Colorado and one went to Hawaii. One of them just had a headache and only got tested because the resort in Colorado called and said they needed to get tested, the other guy thought he had a bad cold. I don't know him well, but my sister in law had a neighbor die from it; he was 79 and had been on a cruise, his wife got it but lived. This is in Tennessee
